Nalco Water, an Ecolab Company, to Present Keynote Address and Share Key Innovations at the 2024 International Water Conference

Nalco Water, Ecolab’s water and process management business, is bringing a full roster of experts to the 2024 International Water Conference (IWC). The company will host the conference’s keynote address, as well as several educational sessions with its leading scientists, engineers and technical consultants. By participating with cross-functional representation, Nalco Water aims to demonstrate the value of an integrated water management strategy, which helps industry address business outcomes, like productivity and profitability, and sustainability targets, like water and energy savings.
IWC brings together the world’s foremost authorities on industrial water use, including researchers, engineers, end users and suppliers from a variety of industries. The conference explores scientific advances and practical applications for water applications in a variety of industries. This year’s event takes place November 3-7 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Calvin Emanuel, PH.D., will present the conference keynote address, “Accelerating Water Stewardship for a Sustainable Future.” He is the vice president and general manager of Sustainable Growth Solutions at Ecolab where he oversees global engineering as well as the team responsible for the execution of the Ecolab Water for Climate™ programme. This signature programme combines outcome-based solutions, digital innovation and engineering services to help companies reduce their water use, which helps lower energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions while increasing water resilience, credibility and profit.
As a part of the keynote session, Emanuel will share insights from the second annual Ecolab Watermark™ Study, which reports on the state of water stewardship around the world. The latest findings highlight how consumers hold businesses and governments most responsible for water conservation, underscoring the need for collective water action.
