ECOLAB SUPPLIES RUSSIAN CUSTOMERS DURING THIS SUMMER’S FOOTBALL CHAMPIONSHIP

Ecolab supplied four championship facilities, including the VIP dining rooms in the Luzhniki Stadium and the Kazan Arena. These facilities will serve an estimated 200,000 lunches, with the help of our hygiene solutions. And to help prepare for the championship, Ecolab doubled product supplies for Anheuser-Busch InBev, the powerhouse behind some of the world’s most recognized beer brands.

In addition, we partner with three of the biggest food retailers in Russia, counting more than 350 stores as customers. To serve these customer locations, our associates traveled more than 60,000 kilometers over the course of the month to help them prepare for the influx of soccer fans.

Supply Chain Planning Manager Pavel Begun played an important role to ensure Ecolab customers throughout Russia had enough product available to meet the increase in demand, as well as the proper training, all in time for the football festivities. “It’s so important to ensure our products are available, in the right places at the right time, while maintaining a high level of service for customers.” 

For Viktoria Tairova, logistics and procurement manager, delivering that added value to customers on game days, and every other day of the year, is a team effort.
